Aging

After you turn 30, things start to gradually break down.
I took on the daunting task of bathing all long haired 70 lbs of Lucy.
It took me about 45 minutes and when I finally let her bolt of the the tub, I could not lean up!! It was one of those sitcom moments of 'my back just gave out'. Instead of bending at the knees I leaned over the entire time. It took me a few minutes to become upright and my back is still quite tender. Yes, I am aging!

let me put a little more whine w/ this cheese, I must be grinding my teeth again at night b/c the left side of my jaw up to my temple hurts each time I bite down. Years ago a dentist told me I had a little bit of tmj and that I grind my teeth terribly, in fact my two upper molars are disappearing. He offered a mouth guard at several hundred dollars and I declined. I also have a terrible gag reflex, so I know I couldn't tolerate that in my mouth all night. As far as the tmj goes, it hardly bothers me, except every now and then, like now, and my jaw pops when I eat something like a bagel or really crunchy cereal.
My brother is one of the more grouchy people when he wakes up and I was eating some crunchy cereal at the table, on vacation in fla mind you, and my jaw going pop pop pop w/ each chew and he screamed at me 'eat your cereal more quietly or don't eat at all'. That's probably been the worst I've dealt with from my tmj.
