Happy Mother's Day!
Happy Mother's Day to all the women who mother those around them all the time!I hope the gals get to take a day off and relax and enjoy the day while being waiting on hand and foot. I, myself, wouldn't mind having a houseboy. I would want him to wear a little outfit like superman, complet w/ the cape, but it was say HB on the chest. I would say 'house boy' and he would appear magically.
Today I'm making brunch for the family so they can take the day off.
I can't tell what I am making yet, but will later this afternoon. I got a lot of it finished last night though.
Skippy, Maisy and Lucy didn't even get me a card! But Mickey says they told him to get some begonias to plant outside under the trees for my gift, so he did it for them. And they are pretty and I appreciate Mickey helping them. My ma and mother in law got gift certs for manicures and pedicures and I sent a package to my new stepmom, Suzy.
Skippy actually slept through the night, so that was a gift in itself! (although my husband woke me up at 6:40 am this morn). His little 'area' is healing up nicely.
Yesterday the event at the zoo went very well. My sis in law and the baby came out to the zoo to help and after we set up and made sure all was groovy, we walked around the zoo. Summer had a very good time. It was a gorgeous day.
*I took down the photo of Fadi, it was freaking me out, all that hair and him just staring at me. I used to say 'take that sweater off' and he would say, 'but I don't even have a shirt on'. ha!
